Typically, the cut line is set up at 1/8” out from your artwork, but for some designs, it can be placed at 1/16″, depending on the sticker or label’s size.
Pro Tip: Our stickers and labels are finished with rounded corners. When setting up your cut line, adding a slight 1/8″ radius to your corners ensures the best results.
Safe Area:
Everything inside the safe area is what will be printed for your designs. To avoid important details getting cut off during the printing process, ensure logos, website information, and other crucial elements are within this zone. The safe area is typically the outer ⅛” inch of your design for most stickers and labels. However, for larger designs over 1” x 1”, we can make the safe zone smaller, 1/16” from your artwork. For designs smaller than 1” x 1”, a 1/8” safe area is essential due to our finishing process. If you require a smaller safe area, let us know, and we’ll accommodate your request.
Bleed in Your Design:
Located just outside the cut line, the bleed line extends 1/8” beyond the design. This additional area enables you to bring your colors right to the edge of the sticker or label, enhancing visual appeal. During the printing process, our lasers cut through this bleed area, ensuring a seamless finish.
